IT STARTED WITH A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE

N.Ø.R.D. Production began in Oslo with a simple ambition: to create camera movements and perspectives people had not seen before.

What started as a specialised FPV operation founded by filmmaker and drone pilot Denver Gatpo has grown into a film and drone production company working across commercial productions, property, concerts, festivals and major public events.

Today, we combine filmmaking, FPV drones, traditional camera drones, DJI Inspire 3 and live aerial broadcasting. Sometimes we provide the one shot that completes a production. Other times, we deliver the full team responsible for concept, planning, safety, filming and final delivery.

CREATIVITY BUILT ON SAFETY

As the projects became bigger, the environments became more demanding.

One of our most safety-intensive productions to date was Oslo Pride, where extensive planning, risk assessment and coordination made it possible to operate during one of Norway’s largest public events.

N.Ø.R.D. became the first operator to fly FPV inside Oslo Spektrum and the first in Norway to fly FPV above an audience at Unity Arena, formerly Telenor Arena.

These milestones represent what N.Ø.R.D. has become: a production company where creative ambition is supported by operational experience and a strong safety culture.

FROM OSLO TO LARGE-SCALE PRODUCTIONS

Our work has since taken us to some of Norway’s largest stages and events, including Karpe World at Ekebergsletta, Palmesus, Slottsfjell and Stavernfestivalen.

At Palmesus, we delivered an extensive drone production with a five-person team across several operational areas. The production combined traditional drones, FPV, detailed safety coordination and operations in both the Open and Specific categories.

Internationally, we have delivered live drone production for the World Fitness Project Finals at Bella Center in Copenhagen, bringing aerial images directly into the event’s international broadcast.

MORE THAN A DRONE COMPANY

N.Ø.R.D. creates commercial films, branded content, event films, aftermovies, property films, social media content and live productions.

Our strength lies in combining cinematic storytelling with the operational knowledge required for indoor FPV, restricted airspace, central Oslo, live broadcasts and complex productions involving multiple pilots and observers.

We believe technology should support the story, not become the story.

BUILDING WHAT COMES NEXT

N.Ø.R.D. Production is an approved training company in the Norwegian drone operator trade and the first approved apprenticeship company in the profession in Oslo.

We are proud of how far N.Ø.R.D. has come, but the motivation remains the same as when we started: finding new perspectives, solving difficult productions and creating films people remember.
